clam enterocystoplasty(redirected from clam cystectomy)
clam enterocystoplastyA procedure in which none of the urinary bladder is removed, but rather it is split from side to side like a clam shell. A portion of bowel is then opened and sutured to the split sides, as a vehicle to improve bladder capacity and reduce activity in an overactive bladder.
