chondroid neoplasms of larynx

A generic term for non-epithelial neoplasms that arise in the larynx and are more common in older males (male:female ratio, 3:1). They affect the cricoid cartilage more than the thyroid cartilage. They are generally low-grade lesions with indolent behaviour.
