A lockable item of clothing designed to prevent sexual intercourse, variously protecting the wearer from others (rape) or themselves (temptation, mastubation).

Sexology
Chastity belts may used in “kinky” sex, BDSM play, and in exclusive consensual relationships to prevent infidelity or masturbation. Such belts are designed for both men and women.
