The highest yield in wheat is being observed in Barda and Saatli regions: it is 44.3 and 42.39
centners per hectare, respectively.
Barley yield in the district has reached 33.3
centners per hectare.
Meanwhile, the average yield of cotton in Central Asia reaches 25-30
centners per hectare, including in Uzbekistan - up to 40
centners, and in some farms this figure reaches 50
centners per hectare.
The wheat yield is projected to make around 900,000 tons or over 20
centners from a hectare.
In the coming years yields are planned to be increased to 23-25
centners per hectare.
Thus, if 29
centners of grain were yielded from 1 hectare last year, 16
centners are expected to be harvested from 1 hectare this year.
The harvest from the plantation was 40.5 tons of cotton or 27
centners per a hectare last year.
