cellular aggregation

Clumping together of blood cells, esp. platelets or red cells.

Each clump was scored according to size and staining density using an arbitrary scale: 0, no cellular aggregation: 1, small clumps containing ~5 25 cells (~30 [micro]m radius): 2, clumps with a radius of ~35 70 [micro]m: 3, large clumps with a radius of 70-140 [micro]m; and 4, large, densely staining clumps of with a radius of more than 150 [micro]m.
