cell plate

a noncellulose structure that is the precursor to the cell wall; it forms between daughter nuclei during mitosis.

cell plate

n.
A partition formed during cell division in plants and some algae that separates the two newly formed daughter cells.

cell plate

a membrane of differentially staining material in plant cells that appears at the equator of the spindle in TELOPHASE of MITOSIS, and is concerned with the formation of the MIDDLE LAMELLA between the two new cells. See CYTOKINESIS.

After exposure to these nanoparticles, the primary cells had become elongated and appeared to detach from the surface of cell plate. After exposure to 50, 100, and 150 [micro]g/mL anatase or rutile Ti[O.sub.2] nanoparticles for 2 days, the viability of cardiac myocytes decreased significantly.
This results in a phragmoplast complex that directs cell plate deposition to simultaneously cleave the tetrad of spores.
Important liver architectural alterations (hepatic cell plates derangement, intense vacuolation, inflammatory influx, cytoplasmic acidophilia, and decharacterization of the nucleus of hepatocytes) were observed in mice treated with UA (2000 mg/kg; p.o.), whereas at the same dose UA-micro-treated animals showed plates of hepatic cells and sinusoids but preserved hepatocytes nuclei.
In two days heat exposed animals, observed disruption of liver cell plates and anisocytosis indicated increased hepatocytic proliferation though no substantial morphological changes suggestive of liver cell necrosis were present.
Human HCC cell lines HepG2 and SMMC-7721 were maintained on cell plates at 37[degrees]C, 5% C[O.sub.2] in DMEM (Gibco) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, 100 units/mL penicillin, and 0.1 mg/mL streptomycin.
RPC Bebo Plastik used its manufacturing expertise to devise a method for creating the perforations within the thermoforming tool, something that is difficult to achieve with PE In addition, the Frischeduo double-pack is designed to fit the cell plates for the regular 500g Latta tub, meaning it can be filled on Unilever's existing filling lines.

The cause of this initial drop in resistance and gradual recovery was investigated and shown to be independent of temperature and influenced by physical movement of cell plates by the fluid pressure produced by the nutrition medium that covers the cells.
