CA10
(redirected from carbonic anhydrase-related protein X)CA10
A gene on chromosome 17q21.33 that encodes a carbonic anhydrase, a zinc metalloenzyme that catalyses the reversible hydration of carbondioxide. The CA10 protein product is thought to be an acatalytic alpha-carbonic anhydrase, which plays a role in brain development.
