bufoglossation

bufoglossation

A coinage by novelist AB Croft referring to the licking of toads—specifically, Bufo alvarius, the venom of which contains psychoactive substances (5-MeO-DMT and bufotenin)—for hallucinogenic ends, an exercise which is discouraged, given that the venom also has cardiotoxins.
