brewing

The manufacture of alcoholic beverages (e.g., beer) from malted grain fermentation.

brewing

the preparation of beer, ale and lager by FERMENTATION from grains such as barley, rice and corn. YEASTS ferment the sugars into ETHANOL and CARBON DIOXIDE. Hops are added to impart a bitter flavour.
