bayberry barkHerbal medicine
A plant substance with astringent and antibacterial properties, which has been used as a folk remedy for jaundice, colitis and irritable bower syndrome. It has been used to reduce mucus production, increase circulation and as a digestive disinfectant for diarrhoea, gastritis and food poisoning.
