leukocytosis

a transient increase in the number of leukocytes in the blood, due to various causes.
basophilic leukocytosis basophilia (def. 1).

mononuclear leukocytosis mononucleosis.

pathologic leukocytosis that due to some morbid condition, such as infection or trauma.
