basiparaplastin

basiparaplastin

An obsolete term, possibly for the basophil portion of the paraplastin, described by pre-20th-century microscopists; few such descriptions have survived modern investigation, given that the stains were nonspecific, the understanding of cell biology was primitive or incorrect and molecular analysis impossible.
