A web-based sequence-submission tool designed to facilitate online submission of one or a few DNA sequences to GenBank.

BankIt also automatically uses VecScreen to identify segments of nucleic acid sequence that may be of vector, adapter or linker origin to combat the problem of vector contamination in GenBank.
