aspermiaThe absence of spermatozoa in the semen or the inability to ejaculate semen. Obstructive aspermia is due to the blockage of the VAS DEFERENS on both sides. This may be congenital or acquired from infection or injury, or from VASECTOMY. CYSTIC FIBROSIS causes aspermia as a result of failure of development of the vas or associated structures.
