A very large range of infections transmitted by insects (ARTHROPODS) such as house flies, mosquitoes, tsetse flies, biting black flies, sandflies, ticks, mites, lice and fleas. They include the arbovirus infections, DENGUE, various dysenteries, FILARIASIS, LYME DISEASE, MALARIA, PLAGUE, Q FEVER, RELAPSING FEVER, Salmonella infections, TRYPANOSOMIASIS, TULARAEMIA, TYPHUS and YELLOW FEVER.
