array synthesis

array synthesis

A type of parallel synthesis used in combinatorial chemistry in which reactions occur in a spatially organised array.

The most advanced of these technologies is that of Roche NimbleGen, which manufactures custom, high-density DNA arrays based on its proprietary Maskless Array Synthesizer, which synthesises up to 4.2 million unique probe features in a single array.

Components
Bench top, solid-state, high-density DNA array fabrication instrument comprised of a maskless light projector, a reaction chamber, a PC and a DNA synthesiser.

These algorithms are suitable for solving large-scale antenna array synthesis problems since they do not require any restrictions on antenna arrays.
However, reports on colloid deposition on PAAO are scarce, although the method is fairly simple and extends the range of possible materials for nanoparticle array synthesis. PAAO has been used as a host for one-dimensional chains of colloidal gold nanoparticles and clusters [15], two-dimensional Au nanoparticle arrays [16], and magnetic nanoparticles [17].
Contrary to Dolph-Chebysheve, side lobes' surface is not homogenous in array synthesis using GA.
Moreover, in the past decades, many researches have been performed in the field of linear array synthesis. The goal is to fit with new requirements in radiation characteristics by altering current distribution (amplitude and/or phase).
First, we have described mathematical procedure for systolic array synthesis. In order to speed-up data transfer between the host and ULSA, used as an accelerator, we have designed hardware address generator units (AGUs).
