CASP 10

A gene on chromosome 2q33-q34, which encodes caspase 10, a protein of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family, which cleaves and activates caspases 3 and 7 and, in concert, play a central role in the execution phase of apoptosis. Caspase 10 is itself processed by caspase 8.
