AIFM2(redirected from apoptosis-inducing factor 2)
AIFM2A gene on chromosome 10q22.1 that encodes an oxidoreductase, which may play a role in mediating a p53/TP53-dependent apoptosis response, and may also be a caspase-independent mitochondrial effector of apoptotic cell death. AIFM2 may contribute to genotoxin-induced growth arrest.
