Various other studies have shown that while strabismus is convergent in anisometropic patients, it usually occurs together with anisohypermetropia. (7,8,9,10,11) Philiphs (8) have claimed that esotropia arises in cases of hypermetropic anisometropia over 4 D and emphasized that anisometropia and esotropia can co-occur.
