amiculum [ah-mik´u-lum] (pl. ami´cula) (L.)
a dense surrounding coat of white fibers, as the sheath of the inferior olive and of the dentate nucleus.
amiculum An obsolete term that formerly dignified a layer of fibres entering the lateral aspect of the inferior dentate nucleus.
