Three regions--Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory--have retained advanced skills teacher
schemes for government teachers since the 1990s.

The club has been set up by the school's assistant head teacher, Dr Digby Carrington-Howell, and the design and technology advanced skills teacher

He was one of the youngest teachers in the country to become an advanced skills teacher
in just his second year in the profession.

Alex Howe said of the sessions: "It's a relaxed, totally safe place where students develop their reading skills with the added advantage of having Audrey with them.

Mr Harte, described by his headteacher as "rigorous, dynamic and challenging", is one of the youngest teachers in the country to become an Advanced Skills Teacher
