acne keratosa

An obsolete term for a variant of acne vulgaris which is characterised by indurated keratin plugs, located especially at the corners of the mouth.

(ak'nē ker-ă-tō'să)
An eruption of papules consisting of horny plugs projecting from the hair follicles, accompanied by inflammation.

acne keratosa

Acne in which suppurating nodules crust over to form horny plugs. These occur at the corners of the mouth.
