ALDH3B2(redirected from acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 8)
ALDH3B2A gene on chromosome 11q13 that encodes an aldehyde dehydrogenase that plays a major role in detoxifying aldehydes generated by alcohol metabolism and lipid peroxidation. The ALDH3B2 gene product is highly expressed in the salivary gland; its function is unknown.
