The authors described 9 cases, in which hip joint arthroscopy had been carried out for patients with highly progressed degenerative changes of the articular cartilage and with reduced hip joint spaces, resulting from earlier lesions of the acetabular lip. Poor results of the treatment were observed for all the 9 patients.
