Q. Why is it so hip to be thin and fit???? not everyone can be as thin and as fit as the society demands? was

it always like that ? because i feel like if you are gaining a little extra pounds you are doomed !!! people condem you as a less better man in the good case .. in the worst case you won't have friends ....
Ai think that the in the biological way of thinking - people are attracted to what seems healthy, it has more chance of giving healthy child that will survive. in African cultures that food is scarce- being big considered to be healthy and attractive. in our culture- being over weight means unhealthy, but so is too skinny. so going back and forth with a few ponds is fine. but the two extreme situations are unattractive for most men.

Q. What do you think is the most serious nutritional issue facing us in an industrialized society today?

I am very careful about taking care of my health. I never ever left my stomach empty. I always eat a nutritional diet. I am staying away from parents to support their financial needs. So I take more care with my health. If I am in good health then my family will be healthy. I often do a lot of research regarding my diet. I am very careful about that. If you are a dietician, please tell me what do you think is the most serious nutritional issue facing us in an industrialized society today?
A1PS...THE DYE IN FOOD....has been linked to cancer.
A2I am not a dietician...but i did work in the medical field(therapist)...scientist no at this point that what we are eating is causing serious disease in americans...the preservatives that are put in our food is linked to cancer, breast cancer and other forms of cancer are almost non-existant in japan be cause of there very low fat food, processed foot, all types of red meat...asian people live longer than we do...american schools have gottin rid of there fat lunches, and the vending mechines.because we live in a free society..we have the choice to eat right...why people continue to kill themselves with food?..i cant figure it out...I have been the past 10yrs.believe me YOU WILL FEEL BETTER.......mrfoot56
A3If all in this earth care about their health like you do, then there will be no suffering. The serious nutritional issue is ‘Fast Food’. It’s all filled with things that are going to upset the metabolism in your body with toxins and unwanted fat. It’s been proven that some ‘branded’ meat can sit in your colon for over three weeks and cause way too much colon plaque. So avoid fast food or branded item foods and go for a natural and well-balanced diet.

Q. Is this a malady if i am homosexual? because i feel sometimes very unhappy and outside the society...

Some people would say - "oh yes", other could say: "i don't know, but i think this is not so common or normal", "homosexual? even the rats don't do it in the laboratories", "they should be exterminated", and so on. In fact we hear probably more bad stuff, than something else. My brother is homosexual and was very long depressive, because he could not tell it to our parents. Perhaps he is still depressive - a little bit from time to time. He lives with his partner. I do not pretend to have the key about it, nor the why nor the "how it comes". I share here with you what I have been taught some years ago. I can live with that. It makes for me sense. I know that many of you will not agree with it, but as long we have not a better explanation...
A1I've worked with different gay people, open and in the closet. I have nothing but good experiences with them. I have never had a talk with them regarding their bring up or how they discovered they were gay.
A2still fighting their way up and still experiencing racism and hatred. I sincerely hope that i my lifetime I will see a world that is inclusive and color blind, and anyone who is still experiencing this hatred will see a day when their children/grandchildren will not have to endure the struggles they have. And that their children/grandchildren will look back and know the struggle it has been to get to that place, and hold the pride in the knowlede that there are people out there who have sacrifised everthing for their freedom.
A3Thank you for that Mrfoot56.
I know what is like to be discriminated against for reasons of ignorance, although being gay is an invisible minority so I can never understand the full experience of what it is like for a visable minority. For me it is embarrasing to be a member of a race (if you will caucassian) that has caused so many good people such harm. And all out of fear and ignorance. I am one of those people who truly looks at a person and sees no color. I see eyes, and believe eyes are the window to the soul. I actually find myself thinking about how great it must be (aside from the discrimination) to be a part of a culture that seems to me to be rooted in love and family values, a culture so rich in history (although not all positive, thanks to ignorance) and arts, a culture that has given until it hurts and somehow found it to give some more. People who have forgivin the most hanus crimes in all of history and can look back and see no color. Families who are still...
