Q. My wife is pregnant and she is now in the first trimester. Her queasiness is disturbing her a lot.

My wife is pregnant and she is now in the first trimester. Her queasiness is disturbing her a lot. She calls it as morning sickness. Almost all the day she feels nauseated whether she vomits or not. But every day she will throw once to have some relief for some time. I worry that this sickness can harm the baby. She does not want to meet the doctor as she says it’s normal with everyone who is pregnant. But I am worried can anyone give some advice?
A1my advice to you is the nausea and vomiting is a common thing that happens in first trimester. but be careful if the nausea and vomiting become more often and worse, by that time you must go to a doctor to find some help and therapy. it is called hyperemesis gravidarum.

so, make sure that what happened to your wife is in normal range, and good luck with her pregnancy! stay healthy always..
A2Yes it’s normal and you must not get worried. It will not harm the baby. But she must take care as she must not starve herself even though she vomits or feels nauseated. This can lead to lack of nutrients which your wife and baby require. This can effect on her pregnancy. To have control on vomiting, she can try to have meals at short intervals and in reduced quantity. She can engage herself in any hobby of her choice to feel good. She can also listen to good music which calms the mind. Doctors also prescribe tablets but that should not be taken throughout pregnancy.

Q. at what age can you first notice adhd?

does it have to appear as a learning disorder or can it be in a much younger age?
A1thanks guys, I'm afraid my niece has ADHD,she is only 4 years old but follows the symptoms I read here on imedix...I hope it isn't that though she is a very smart girl so I'm sure she'll be fine anyway...
A2If you know some diagnosed with ADHD kids I guess you can tell at a very young age. not for sure but you can see some symptoms of severe impatience and concentration difficulties very early...
A3Usually when the child enters school, since then he or she is challenged and must perform tasks that require attention and concentration. Symptoms of ADHD, however, may present as earlier as 3 years of age, although usually not diagnosed by this age.

Q. My wife is in first trimester. What are the tests should we expect for her and why?

My wife is in first trimester and this is her 50 th day of pregnancy. My family is taking a good care for her. She is getting good support and as well her food, exercise and emotional health are good. She is going well and all her required tests have been taken. I just want to know what other tests should we expect for her and why?
AHer hCG will be tested regularly to check its growth and decline. She will go for plasma protein–A (PAPP–A) screening to check for some risk as stillbirth, premature delivery and Down syndrome. They will do Ultrasound of her belly to check for the baby and number of fetus.
