Q. Is there a recommended natural cure for graves disease?

I've been suffering from graves for a year now and really feel tired of it. I'm thinking of trying some natural medications cause the regular ones are dissapointing so far. Any experience with that??
AI am not familiar with any natural supplements you can take for graves disease, furthermore, it is an illness where you should be on close monitoring of an endocrinologist, and have them tell you which medications you are allowed to take and what could make the situation worse. If regular treatment doesn't seem to help you much you should go for another check up to see how your thyroid is doing.

A1thanks guys, do you have any tips about coping with fibromyalgia?

Q. I have heard probiotics, how do we maintain them naturally?

I have heard probiotics i.e. useful bacteria should be maintained in the human guts…..how do we maintain them naturally?
A1look, i heard several microbiologists tell the same thing. all those yogurts that try to give us bacteria we already have - are just bull #$&*. it just look good in commercials. the L. casai that they publish is a bacteria you have in a great amount in your mouth anyway, every time you swallow saliva - you get tons of them inside of you anyway. no need to buy expensive "supplements".
A2Yes they must be maintained Tom. You can maintain them by taking fermented foods like yoghurt, milk, cabbage. But yoghurt is the best source of supplementing the probiotic nutrition.

Q. Is there any natural herb for a sluggish thyroid

Afirst of all the thyroid gland is situated in the front of the neck, just below the larynx(voice box)it consist of two lobes, one one each side of the trachea(windpipe)joined by a narrower portion of tissue called the isthmus---the thyroid grand produces hormones that regulate metabolism(the chemical activitie in cells that release energy from nutrients or uses energy to create other substances, such as proteins)the thyroid gland regulates the level of calcium in the body.insufficient thyroid hormones prduction is known as hypothyroidism(sluggish thyroid)symtoms include tirednes/dry skin/hair loss/weight gain/constipation/and sensitivity to cold.--because iodine is necessary for the production of thyroid hormones/calcium-ASk your DR before trying natural meds-because they ma interfere with what your uncle is taking now?--and you need to find out from your DR WHY is his thyroid sluggish--mrfoot56--peace

Q. What are some natural remedies that work for mild depression?

I was diagnosed with mild depression and my doctor prescribed me some meds. But I am upset and I do not want to take the prescribed meds. I feel I am strong and I have seen people suffer with depression. I have the confidence that I can overcome it and I am upset that it may ruin my confidence. I am not sure whether the meds would help me but I know they help some people. However I strictly want to try some natural remedies. What are some natural remedies that work for mild depression?
AHello. Good that you have the required confidence to overcome the issue and please do not lose momentum. Maybe your thinking is correct and if you maintain your confidence, I think you can overcome mild depression. However I would not recommend ignoring the doctor as you need to understand that they have diagnosed you with the depression. Maybe before taking any meds, I recommend you to try with basic meditation! I had a mild depression like you, it was cured with the help of yoga and I did not take any meds at all. Or try with some therapy like acupuncture before starting meds. I feel that those might work for you. You need not feel upset as it is very much curable.
