Q. what do you think the reason would be?

As per the latest statistics that 2 out of 150 kids born in the U.S. has autism, and the incidence rate is increasing, what do you think the reason would be?
A1The actual statistics is not 2 out of 150. It is 1 out of 150. I don't think autism is increasing, I think more children are being labeled as autistic - the condition is more well known than it was 20 years ago.
A2i think that one of the reasons (not to all but to many) is that there is much more awareness to the problem now days and more people come to get a diagnose. and there are better diagnostic tests so more people get diagnosed.

Q. Is there any reason behind this?

a bipolar woman is mostly misdiagnosed for depression… there any reason behind this?
A1freebrid12 is right, and there's another thing- depression is a very common diagnosis amongst women and bipolar is less common. therefore psychiatrist tend to diagnose depression more then bipolar disorder.
A2Yes……A bipolar woman has less episodes of mania and is often milder than men. Thus they are mostly misdiagnosed for depression and because of fewer symptoms for the mania they tend to get misdiagnosed for depression.

Q. I doubt the only reason could be that she is diabetic ….. What may be the other reasons?

My sweet wife is in her 1st trimester and the doctor has described it as a very high risk pregnancy, I don’t understand why it is being called a high risk pregnancy…I doubt the only reason could be that she is diabetic ….. What may be the other reasons?
A1Risk factors for a high-risk pregnancy can include:

- Young or old maternal age
- Being overweight or underweight
- Having had problems in previous pregnancies
- Pre-existing health conditions, such as high blood pressure, anemia, diabetes, or HIV
A2A women pregnancy is termed high risk if she is experiencing or may experience any complications like chronic medical conditions, any history of pregnancy concern complications or any pregnancy loss. It may be due to diabetes as they had described as high risk pregnancy ….and you need to take high care for her.

Q. Is this the reason for not eating well? What should I do?

I don’t like to eat a lot and I have developed some side effects as my hair fall has increased. Is this the reason for not eating well? What should I do?
A1It is essential for your body to consume calories and nutritious foods. You will die other wise.
A2You are worried about your hair fall and it relates to nutrition directly. A low protein diet, with less of essential vitamins like A,C,B-B12,E does have a large effect on hair fall and your over all body constitution. What you eat is reflected on your body, so a diet rich in proteins have a straight effect on your hair as well on general body fitness. Proteins and vitamins are good for hair and make them stronger as well and reduces hair fall. If you don’t like eating much, then you must meet a doctor. External intake of protein and vitamins are available but they do not match the internal intake of the food you consume.

Q. Is there an health reason why diet became so popular?

Ain the past centuries the human being has moved from an animal looking for her food to an animal that have a lot of verity of foods and plenty of it. so we eat much more, and what we eat is also a problem. we eat a lot of sugar and fat, so the BIGGEST epidemic in the U.S right now is obesity. obesity is the cause of heart diseases, diabetes and millions of other problems (joints deterioration and even breast cancer..).
so people want to be healthy. most of them anyway. so they try to loose weight.
but that is healthy only to a certain standard and dieting in a certain conditions.
