Q. Feeding Tub. How does the Feeding Tub works?

A1Is it easy to feed someone with a feeding tub?. My husband has cancer and can not eat any thing. The cancer is in the voice box.
A2Basically, it's a tube (or a hose) that enters through either the mouth or the wall of the abdomen into you stomach. It's used when the patient can't eat independently.
In Wikipedia you can find a simple and good explanation of this device (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feeding_tube)

Q. I gave birth 2 weeks ago and I am having real difficulties breast feeding

it hurts really bad, and I am constantly worried that my baby isn't eating enough. What can I do?
A1if it really hurts, maybe you should stop it for a while (maybe there is a micro/small wound at your nipple). You should cure it first then you can soon start breastfeeding your baby again.

Just make sure you have enough drink, be relaxed while breastfeeding, and have enough & healthy nutrition also!
Stay healthy always..
A2These are excellent tips!
A friend of mine had a similar problem when she started breast feeding. She was simply stubborn and insisted on continuing to breast feed until her baby was 3 months old even though she suffered every minute of it. I am sure she would have found these tips very helpful!
A3My mom always said something about brewers yeast helping to produce more milk for the baby.
