Q. Please give any idea to try?

I always tend to eat a lot, I am food lover & my mom cooks very good and I can’t stop overeating….I am obese yet I cannot…….I have tried thrice on a good diet plan and fitness program, which I failed to carry on……………please give any idea to try?
AMy dear …the problem is that you don’t eat to live but you live to eat. There must be a strategy that you first eat when you are hungry and this needs mental exercise not a physical and no diet plan even. This craving must be reduced. You can leave your house for some time and join some yoga village and have the diet they give and exercise under the trainer. You don’t need any diet plan you need diet management with physical training and to start on that you need mental motivation.

Q. Has anyone tried the cabbage diet?

I'm interested in knowing if this is a good diet.
APersonally I have tried it and first of all- 1. You cannot eat cabbage longer than a week, it's impossible 2. It is a very bad diet because it does not contain all the major food products one should eat every day, and allows fast yet dangerous weight loss 3. You end up putting back all the weight you lost once you stop, because you start eating like you used to, and you did not use lifestyle changes that will stick with you for the long term.

Q. Since I am not comfortable with allopathic medicines, I wish to give a try with Chinese traditional medicines.

I have been constipated of late and feel bloated with gas formation. My uncle too has a similar problem and has been taking an allopathic medication but without any results. Since I am not comfortable with allopathic medicines, I wish to give a try with Chinese traditional medicines.
AThis often occurs when there is an imbalance with the stomach organ systems and the large intestine. Spicy foods are prescribed by Chinese medicines to relieve constipation like rhubarb radishes, persimmons, ginger and orange peel. Acupressure helps in stimulating the bowels and is effective. It is worth to give a try with Chinese traditional medicines.

Q. My husband has psoriasis and the dermatologist suggested that he try the uv light treatment.Anyone try it.

some of the side effects may be skin cancer and melanoma's. If so can you please let me know if it actually did help or if not. Thanks a million.
A1uv light treatment procedure is relatively new mod of treatment so here is difficult to build an opinion about it.
Actually there are two main type of treatment relating uv light are in use one is uvb treatment and other one is PUVA (uva light based).
As uvb is the most prominent factor for skin cancer so this treatment is more risky. While PUVA is quite effective treatment and has less side effects.

A2a woman i know has Psoriasis and she uses that way of treatment, but in a different way- she take "sun baths". when she does that she also use precautions like sunglasses and sun block on other parts of the body. she says it works nicely. it's efficient and you don't need things like 3 hours of sunlight/U.V- you need 15-20 minutes as i understand, and that is only when you need the therapy.
so it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

Q. How about trying acupuncture, will it be helpful while I continue with my treatments as well?

I am taking medicine for my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and they are giving treatment for hypothyroidism and my all tests were also on hypothyroidism…..my recovery is still not clear and they have told to wait few more months for surgery. They are observing me on medicines and some minor movements. How about trying acupuncture…..will it be helpful while I continue with my treatments as well?
AMany people are trying for both. They both are good and adding acupuncture will speed your recovery as well. Because it will start curing you from inside and will make you resistant for future symptom reversal and present treatment will remove the visible symptoms…..just go on.
