Q. Dear Doctors,I had cyst in my left ovary and poped it off, after that I have a small pain every day.

in HSG everything was OK.my Pop smir is ok and in histroscopy every thing was ok. would you please ask me why I have this pain?
A1as Ann already mentioned - this is a good place to get good advises, not diagnosis... my advise to you is to ask the gyno how long there should be pain after the surgery. i'm sure it take couple of days minimum but i would ask him about it. if there's something wrong he'll know what to do.
sorry i can't help more...

Q. is taking glucosomine and msm good enough for me?i have problems with my left knee.

i was wondering if i absolutely need to add in chrondoitin to the mix.will this add more joint support benefit for my problamatic left knee...?so far,the glucosomine and msm seem to be working pretty good but maybe things could be even better by adding in chrondoitin perhaps...?
A1I have hypoglycemia, shellfish and sulfa drug allergy and cataracts, and developed symptoms like diabetic neuropathy after taking this for over 60 days. Since learned that glucosamine is sugar and sulpha based, and chondroitan is made from shellfish, so I should not have used.
A2There is no evidence from high-quality trials that either of these drugs or the combination of them is actually better than placebo (pill that contains no active substances), so it can't be recommended that you add another un-proven drug to the un-proven things you already take now.

Q. My grandmother has arthritis in her left knee.

Is it likely that she will develop in the future arthritis in other parts of the body as well?
AUnfortunately ostheoarthritis is a disease that can effect almost every joint and therefore arthritis like she has in her knee can develope in other places such as the ankles, hips and hand joints.

Q. My left foot is swollen and painful. Can it be flesh eating bacteria?

I am a 24 years old lady and my left foot is swollen and painful. To be more specific it is not just swollen it's red, painful and hot. I just saw a TV show few days ago about "flesh eating bacteria". I know it sounds like I have hypochondria but I am very afraid.
A1To get a serious skin infection you need a port of entry for it. Think if you had any cosmetic therapy for your legs lately. If you can find a port of entry you can read here about cellulites - the name for swollen red and painful area of the skin.

A2Don't feel bad for caring for yourself. Yes, the risk that this situation is flesh eating bacteria (FEB) is small (maybe we saw the same show :)) but it's important to find out. I had cellulites (the thing that mimic FEB)once, and you sound to me like you have it too.
FEB is a more systemic illness with fever and with rapid enlargement of the swelling. Mark the red area on your foot. If it grows go to the ER for antibiotic therapy.

Q. my arm left hurt like hell what can i do to remidy it

AWell it depends on many things- how long it is hurting? Chronic pain can be from reasons that require medical examination, in order to provide with proper diagnosis and treatment. If this pain is only in the last few days, and there's no trauma to the arm involved, or an apparent infection, then it is probably just muscle pain, that can be eased by over-the-counter creams for muscle and joint pains.

Q. I have sharp pain in upper left back, what could that be?

When I inhale, it hurts also. Yesterday, the pain penetrated through the front to below my breast and a little in my side also. The pain is above the kidney in the back, and under the breast in the front.
Acould be number of things, it could be a sprained intercostal muscle - the muscles between the ribs. it can cause pain while breathing and because it doesn't happen very often- people have no idea what it is. and it could also be a fracture of the rib, the ribs are a very delicate bone. especially i older people, it can be fractured easily and cause pain while breathing. there probably more conditions that have this symptom, but you should look them up with a Dr. that can test for them.

Q. I have tingless on my left hand and sometimes i feel pain. What do you think about this situation?

A1What type work do you do? Is it something repetative? It sounds to me like you ae beginning to have symptoms of corpal tunnel syndrome, The is where the "tunnel" over nerve in wrist collaspes and makes contact with the nerve( HOW doctor explain to me in his layman words) They do a test where they put electrodes on your fingers and arm and see how the impluses travel If a bad case the do s aurgery called carpal tunnel release. This is usualy under local and I stayed awake and talked to everyone durning precedure. We tried braces at first and PT but for me it ended up in surgery. please see your doctor b/c mine told me if I hadn't put seeing him off for so long wrist braces would have helped.
Good Luck!
A2it is probably a neuropathy problem. some of them are caused commonly by lack of vitamin B, but some people are experiencing it because of their nerves problems (caused by nerves disorder itself, degeneration process, or metabolic complication).

as a start, you can try vitamin B complex supplements, and i will also suggest you to go see your doctor for further advise.
A3Well it depends a lot on where exactly in your hand your feel the tingling, in your palm/ wrist/ fingers?? Each are innervated by different nerves that arise in your axilla (armpit area), and sometimes when one nerve gets trapped on its way it causes some tingling. You should see your doctor or and orthopedist in order to get properly examined and treated if this continues to bother you.
