ZBTB7B A gene on chromosome 1q21.3 that encodes a protein which plays a key role in the instruction of lymphoid stem cells to develop into CD4 T cells. ZBTB7B is a transcriptional repressor of COL1A1 and COL1A2; it may act as a repressor of fibronectin and possibly other extracellular matrix genes.
