A gene on chromosome 22q13.1 that encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors, which regulate embryonic development and determine cell fate. SOX10 may act as a transcription activator after forming a complex with other proteins; it acts as a nucleocytoplasmic shuttle protein and is important for neural crest and peripheral nervous system development.

Molecular pathology
SOX10 mutations cause Waardenburg-Shah and Waardenburg-Hirschsprung disease.

From systems studied in the literature, we have noticed two ways to handle the problem and met our purpose: (1) translate SQL to an XML query language XPath or XQuery to query XML database (2) the opposite, translates an XML query language to SQL.
2) SAWSDL-iMatcher which uses iXQuery (an extension of Xquery) with various similarity joins for SAWSDL service discovery.
Authors Cary and Vodnik present students, academics, and professionals working in a wide variety of contexts with the third edition of their comprehensive examination of XML software, including the transformation of XML data into HTML format with XSLT, creating custom reports with XSLT 2.0 and XPath 2.0, and designing database queries using XQuery. The authors have organized the sessions that make up the main body of their text in nine tutorials devoted to creating and XML document, validating documents with DTDs, validating documents with schemas, working with advanced schemas, transforming XML and XSLT and XPath, and a wide variety of other related subjects.
Here, we used the XQuery implementation of the Apriori algorithm proposed by Wan and Dobbie [22].
