Working Families

Working Families

A body which bills itself as the UK’s leading work-life balance organisation, helping working parents and carers and their employers find a better balance between home and work responsibilities. It has a free legal helpline that provides advice on employment rights to maternity and paternity leave, time off in an emergency and parental leave, and helps parents and carers negotiate flexible hours. It can also give basic advice on the benefits and tax credits that working parents can claim. Working Families’ research and campaigns seek to change the way people live and work, by interfacing with employers to support them in creating workplaces that encourage a better work-life balance.
