A homeopathic remedy used primarily for acute conditions of slow onset; it has also been used internally for arthritis, breast-feeding-related mastitis, bursitis, colds with congestion, colic, cough, gastrointestinal complaints (including constipation, gastritis, nausea and vomiting), headache, inflammation of the serosa, influenza, low back pain, and rheumatic complaints.

There is no peer-reviewed data that suggest that homeopathy provides any effective therapy.
