West Point view

a specially positioned x-ray view of the shoulder, with the beam angled 25° inferiorly and medially, with the scapula positioned so that the beam will be tangential to the anterior-inferior corner of the glenoid; a modified axillary view; used to detect a bony Bankart lesion on the glenoid rim following anterior dislocation.
