A California case in which David Goodrich, a deputy district attorney, died of a rare stomach cancer after trying to get Aetna to approve cancer treatment recommended by his Aetna doctors. His wife sued Aetna, the insurer; the jury found that Aetna had acted with 'malice, fraud and oppression'
