A suspension (50uL) having 103 median tissue culture infectious doses (TCID50) virus were added to vero cells monolayer in 96 well plates and were incubated at 4AdegC for 60 min to permit attachment.
10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS, Gibco Lab.) was added to the media used for these cells (Vero cells were MEM medium, C-41 cells were in Waymouth MB medium) and pH was adjusted to7.2 with 4.4% NaHC[O.sub.3].
For both dinoflagellate species, growth phase of the algal cells had significant effects on the viability of the Vero cells. There was no significant difference between the effects of exposures to cultures and cell-free culture supernatants collected at EG and SG; however, the effects of exposures to cultures and cell-free culture supernatants collected at DP had significantly higher effects than at EG and SG.
The cytotoxicity effect of biosynthesis Rosemary Nano Silver (BRSNPs) concentrations were determined by percentage of cell viability against African Green Monkey Kidney VERO cell lines.
For example, rickettsial growth rates were not determined in the infected Vero cell cultures from the data collected because the Vero cells were dividing as ricketssial growth was[degrees]Ccurring, and the numbers of Vero cells were not determined at the end of the incubation period.
To estimate the volume and the surface area of the Vero cell, a uniform random point grid of the fundamental area "a" was superimposed on the images, where "a=XY" (here 13.6 [[micro]m.sup.2]).
