a nonrandom association of congenital anomalies similar to the VATER association but also including cardiac and limb anomalies; the cause is unknown.

An acronym for a rare congenital syndrome of birth defects, specifically vertebral abnormalities, anal atresia, cardiac structural anomalies, tracheoesophageal fistula, esophageal atresia, renal maldevelopment, and limb aplasias.
