USP11

A gene on chromosome Xp11.23 that encodes an enzyme which deubiquitinates target proteins, inhibiting their degradation by the proteasome. USP11 plays a role in regulating NF-kappaB activation pathways, as well as in regulating DNA repair after double-strand breaks. USP11 interacts with RANBP9/RANBPM, BRCA2, CHUK/IKKA, NFKBIA and HPV protein 16E7
