United Kingdom Clinical Aptitude Test. A test used by a consortium of medical and dental schools in the UK to select students amongst many highly qualified undergraduate applicants. The computer-formatted questions inform the schools on candidates’ mental ability; abstract, quantitative and verbal reasoning and decision analysis; problem solving; critical thinking; and information management.
