term sometimes applied to the periurethral glands in the upper part of the urethra in the female.
female prostate A region of glandular tissue located around the female urethra that triggers the release of fluid via the urethra and possibly also the vagina wall during orgasm. “Skene’s glands” is the term preferred by most health professionals.
