Tulip Bulb Aorta

A term of art referring to appearance on chest CT of dilated sinuses of Valsalva which extend into the ascending aorta (dilated aortic root with sinotubular ectasia) which has been likened to a tulip bulb, and is most often seen in Marfan syndrome
