Sitting about 200,000 light-years away in the constellation Tucana, the star HV 2112 appears to be a red supergiant that has engulfed a neutron star.
We also have beautiful birds of many colors, such as pigeons, hawks, columba, aquila, and tucana.
The object, named 2013 [PJ.sub.10] in MPEC 2013 P39 issued at 22:01 UTC on August 6, had come to within 0.0025 AU (375,000km) of the Earth on the morning of August 4 and had reached around 13th magnitude as it traversed the southern constellation of Tucana. It was now moving away and would fade rapidly.
Researchers led by Harvey Richer of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver combined recent Hubble observations with eight years' worth of data from the telescope's archive to determine the motions of the stars in the globular cluster 47 Tucanae, which is located about 16,700 light-years away in the southern constellation Tucana.
This faint star is located only 11.8 light-years away, the 17th closest, and racing across 5" in a year towards the constellation Tucana. It has now been discovered that epsilon Indi also harbours a family with a binary pair of brown dwarfs close to it.
