mammary duct

Any of the ±20 terminal ducts that drain the radially arranged lobules of the breast into the nipple.

lactiferous duct

Any of 15 to 20 ducts that drain the lobes of the mammary gland. Each opens in a slight depression in the tip of the nipple.
