parkour

A non-competitive discipline that derives from French military exercises, in which one rapidly traverses one's surroundings, negotiating obstacles in the most efficient way possible—e.g., by jumping, climbing, vaulting, rolling, swinging and wall scaling. Parkour is best practised in obstacle-dense urban areas.
