A gene on chromosome 6q23.2 that encodes an orphan G protein-coupled receptor, the putative ligands for which may be trace amines, including derivatives of indolamines (e.g., 5-methoxytryptamine) or of phenylethylamines (e.g.,phenylethanolamine).
