TAAR1(redirected from Trace amine receptor 1)
TAAR1A gene on chromosome 6q23.2 that encodes a G protein-coupled receptor activated by trace amines. Trace amines are endogenous compounds that account for less than 1% of the biogenic amines in most brain regions, and are thought to have a role in neurotransmission.
