Thermopsis

North American plant genus of the legume family Fabaceae; contain toxic quinolizidine alkaloid; causes myopathy, stiff gait, recumbency; includes T. montana (poison bean), T. rhombifolia (yellow bean). Called also false lupin, mountain thermopsis, golden banner.
