1 an image formed by a reflection.
2 a kind of reversed asymmetry of characteristics often found in sets of monozygotic twins.
3 chemical molecules with the same composition but with asymmetric arrangement of the atoms.
An image of an object in which right and left are reversed. The term is also used to indicate the similarity of chemical substances or persons with quite similar personalities and looks (e.g., identical twins).
